RESULTS OF the II-nd STAGE
The elaboration of natural hazard maps and assessment of the risk owing to the landslides
1. New electromagnetic and geomagnetic procedures used for the assessment of the natural hazard owing to the seismic activity and landslides;
2. New procedures to perform maps of susceptibility for landslides, scale1:200.000, for the area extended between Teleajen Valley and Motru Valley, taken into account 8 factors (lithological, geomorphologic, structural, hidrogeological, pseudoclimatic, forested, anthropic and seismic);
3. New methods (deterministic and probabilistic) to perform seismic hazard maps for two scenarios: sources placed at 90 km in the distance and, respectively, 140 km, that may well reproduce both the distribution of the macroseismic effects observed on the maps based on historical data, and the effect owing to the depth of the seismic sources , by computing the maps corresponding to the depth of 95km, 120 km and 150km.
