MAIN RESULTS OF GEOPHYSICAL ACTIVITIES CARRIED OUT BY PETROM R.A.
(Abstract)
The national oil company "PETROM" R.A. is performing its production
and exploitation activity practically on the entire Romanian territory, through
its 25 production unit son land and one for the Black Sea continental shelf,
ensuring the entire oil production and more than 30% of the gas production
in Romania.
After a short history of the oil production in Romania, the paper reviews the
main results of geophysical activities carried out by the company, emphasizing
those of seismic exploration and borehole geophysics.
