THE DRINKING AND GEOTHERMAL WATER POTENTIAL
OF THE PANNONIAN DEPRESSION, BY ELECTRICAL LOGGING INTERPRETATION
(Abstract)
The izopach maps of the permeable layers for drinking water (between 100
m and 400 m) and geothermal water (between 700 m and the Upper Pannonian /
Lower Pannonian limit and for Lower Pannonian were elaborated by interpreting
electrical logging data from 2,500 bore holes drilled for water, lignite and
hydrocarbons.
These izopach maps are useful for the optimum location of hydrogeological drilling
works and for the water reserve calculation.
