RESULTS OF THE III - rd STAGE

Methodological studies for monitoring the geodynamic activity

1. Implementation of a conceptual model in a test zone (Provita de Sus) to experience the methodologies proposed in the frame of the project, with direct implications in the multiparametric monitoring of the two geodynamic processes (seismicity and landslides);

2 New procedures to perform hazard index map for landslides (Valcea and Prahova districts), by assessing the interdependence between the main geomorphologic, climatic and seismic indicators for each district;

3. Performance of new spatio-temporal distributions of the crustal and intermediate earthquakes of Vrancea zone (the analysis of monthly seismic activity, for a catalogue with earthquakes occurred in the period 1995-2008, suggests that the occurrence of the bigger earthquakes happened on an ascendant trend of the seismic activity.
