THE UTILIZATION OF THE GEOPHYSICAL LOGGING DIAGRAMS FOR DETERMINING
THE DRINKING AND INDUSTRIAL AQUIFEROUS POTENTIAL OF SOUTHERN OLTENIA
(Abstract)
The isopach maps of the aquiferous layers from 100 m – 400 m perspective
interval was obtained by geophysical logging interpretation. These results
will be useful in the aquiferous reserve calculation of the region and for
the optimal setting and execution of the hydrological drilling works.
A more correct basis of the aquiferous reserve calculation was obtained by
the elaboration of the isopach maps for each geological interval in southern
Oltenia, which – methodologically – represents an example with
applicability in similar regions.
