EVOLUTION IN SEISMIC PROSPECTING TECHNOLOGIES FOR TECTONICAL
AND COMPLICATED AREAS WITH OIL AND GASES PERSPECTIVES
(Abstract)
Tectonical and morphological complicated areas are of great interest for
their oil and gas prospectives.
In Romania, for these types of areas, the authors make a short review of the
applied prospecting methods of their basic principles.
There is a transition from the analysis of the 2-D methods to 3-D variants
(cross spread azimuthal shootings (SSM), multicross spread azimuthal shootings
(SSMM), wide-line profile, slalom-line profile, regular bore-holes and geophones
3D bins, mentioning the efficiency of each method.
Finally, the paper presents the necessary conditions to maximize the efficiency
of the 3-D survedys – the only capable to solve the geological investigations
of the tectonical and morphological complicated areas.
Key words: morphology, tectonics, 2D, 3D, methods analysis.
