ON 3 – D MIGRATION IMPLEMENTATION
(Abstract)
The paper contains a short description of the considered model for deducing
the full 3-D migration algorithms using the wave equation.
A thorough presentation of 3-D full migration implementation (and the inverse
migration process) in the kx – ky – 
domain
is given, while outlining its efficiency when compared to two steps 3-D migration
implementation.
Finally, an example showing the effect of applying a full 3-D migration process
in the kx– ky– domain
on a synthetic model is given.
