A METHOD FOR ATTENUATING RAYLEIGH WAVE EFFECTS UPON BUILDINGS
(Abstract)
This note reports, for first time in Romania, a method intended to attenuate
falling hammer induced Rayleigh during the compaction of building sites.
The method, experimentally tested by the author, succeeds to attenuate Rayleigh
waves which otherwise could cause, damage to the buildings in close proximity
of the sites under compaction.
