CAPACITIVE TRANSDUCER BAROGRAPH (CTB)
(Abstract)

CTB is materialized in a tight capsule, sensitive to the changes of the air pressure, its axial distortion being taken over by a differential capacitive transducer. The information furnished by it, as a variable voltage, can be recorded either direct analogically, or stored on a high density support, after its digitization.
OF small sizes, with a negligible caloric energy dissipation, CTB can be utilized in underground enclosures where the geodynamic sensors work.
CTB has a good stability (drift < 0.01 mbr/hour) and high sensitivity (1 V/bar for a signal/noise ratio > 50 dB). CTB is built of Romanian-made components.
