PATTERN RECOGNITION IN INTERPRETING AEROMAGNETIC DATA
(Abstract)
In order to interpret aeromagnetic data a complex procedure has been worked out, involving the transformation of observational data in the special domain (reduction to the pole, second vertical derivative of the field reduced to the pole), the recognition of the source-pattern from the relationships between certain "horizontal parameters" of the anomalies and the estimation of the magnetic properties thereof from "vertical parameters".
