BROADCASTING STATION-PILOTED ELECTRONIC CLOCK,
DEVOTED TO GEODYNAMIC LABORATORIES (BPEC)
Abstract
Base don a quartz oscillator and piloted by a broadcasting station, BPEC
removes the necessity of time corrections for the recordings. Thus, it keeps
up the accuracy of the central time etalon of the Bucharest broadcasting station
for the time scale in the geodynamic observatories.
BPEC has the possibility to schedule the time scale and the signal duration
and is provided with power outputs with relays and power transistors, assuring
the remote control of the recording system. The clock is built of Romanian-made
components.
