PRELIMINARY DATA ABOUT PRECURSOR PHENOMENA OF INTERMEDIATE EARTHQUAKES
(Abstract)
The paper deals with the possible correlation between intermediate earthquake
activity in Vrancea region and the state of stress around a fault in crust.
The data are interpreted in connection with a fracture process with transition
from brittle to plastic and a stress migration from intermediate depth to the
surface.
