CONTRIBUTIONS TO THE EXPLAINING OF THE INDUCED POLARIZATION
NEGATIVE ANOMALIES
(Abstract)
Due to the fact that the theoretical considerations do not satisfactorily explain the negative I.P. anomalies, some laboratory and field experiments have been carried out. The results obtained show that the negative I.P. Anomalies do not solely depend on the equipment used, measuring domain, working procedure or the geometry of the electrodes array but are strongly connected with the interrelation of the shape of the body and its electrical properties, the depth of location as well as with the position of the measuring electrodes.
