DATA CONCERNING THE SEISMICITY AND SEISMOTECTONICS
OF THE EASTERN MOESIAN PLATFORM
(Abstract)
The seismic activity of the Eastern Moesian Platform, especially that which
followed the Vrancea earthquake of March 1977, and the seismotectonics of this
region are presented.
Data confirm the relation between the normal earthquake epicentres and the
main tectonic lines. The highest seismic activity occurs at fractures crossings.
