ON SOME ASPECTS OF THE COMPLEX GEOPHYSICAL STUDY OF SEISMIC
AREAS IN THE PEOPLE'S REPUBLIC OF CHINA
(Abstract)
A report is given on the study of seismic areas by complex geophysical methods undertaken in the People's Republic of China. The final aim of the research is the prediction of strong earthquakes in order to prevent life losses and damages. A review of the organization of the research and the equipment is made. The main characteristics of the precursor in the case of two strong earthquakes are given as well.
