DETERMINATION OF THERMAL CONDUCTIVITY OF ROCKS FROM
MEASUREMENTS ON FRAGMENTS
(Abstract)
Two methods of measuring thermal conductivity on rock fragments are described. A comparison is made between the solid rock conductivity, measured by the divided bar, and the conductivity deduced from measurements on water saturated fragments both by the needle probe method and by the cell in the divided bar method.
