CONTRIBUTIONS TO THE KNOWLEDGE OF GEOTHERMAL MANIFESTATIONS
IN THE SOUTHERN PART OF APUSENI MOUNTAINS AND STREI BASIN
(Abstract)
Detailed two meters temperature surveys and geochemical studies were carried out at Geoagiu, Bobâlna, Rapoltel and Calan. The geothermal regime of the region has been studied and conclusions have been drawn regarding warm water circulation. The deep reservoir temperature seems to be round to 60°C and heat discharge within each local anomaly is 700–900 Kcal/sec.
