APPLIED GEOPHYSICS RESEARCH CONTRIBUTION TO
EXPLORATION ACTIVITY
(Abstract)
The interest taken by the former on the present research units in fields
of activity directly connected to the geophysical exploration, is shown. An
important moment for the development of the geophysical research in Romania
is the establishing of the Institute of Applied Geophysics in 1966. Since 1974
the whole geophysical research activity has been carried out by the Institute
of Geology and Geophysics.
The results obtained in the developing methods and techniques are briefly presented
together with the part taken by these results in solving geological problems.
