OF PROSPECTIONS FOR SOLID MINERALS

The paper presents the activity and the main results obtained within the Geological
Enterprise of Prospection for Solid Minerals, from the very beginning until
now.
Enjoying a permanent help from the party and state authorities, the geophysicists,
who have been working in this Enterprise for almost 25 years, succeeded in
connecting the production activity with scientific research, promoting a better
knowledge of the geology of our country and the development of row mineral
deposits important for our national economy. So, the geophysical prospections
carried out contributed to mineral fields, and the delimitation of prospective
zones for various types of mineralizations, as well as to the understanding
of the geological structure of various geological areas.
The results obtained have increased the authority of this Enterprise which
is called today to bring its contribution in many different geological problems
both within the country and abroad.
