CONTRIBUTION OF THE EARTH'S PHYSICS TO THE PROSPECTING ACTIVITY IN ROMANIA
(Abstract)
On the occasion of the fiftieth anniversary of the organized prospecting activity in Romania, a review is given of the contribution to this activity of fundamental geophysical research. The main results obtained in the field of gravity, geomagnetism and seismology are briefly mentioned in their role of supporting geophysical prospecting in Romania.
