CONTRIBUTIONS TO THE STUDY OF SEISMIC EFFECTS OF
EXPLOSIONS UPON BUILDINGS
(Abstract)
In the first part of the paper the seismic effect of explosions with micro-delay
(detonated in quarries) upon buildings is studied, for the first time in Romania.
The practical results obtained refer to the explosions with micro-delay produced
in Pietreni-Bistrita quarry and their effect upon the historical monument Arnota.
The second part of the paper contains the results of the seismic intensity
determined of some experimental explosions from the zone of Teliuc quarry.
