The results of research and design of a deposit for solid toxic wastes storage
in an impure salt rock massif of Cucuieti-Valcele, Bacau county, Romania, are
presented in this paper.
The current available geological, geophysical and mining data permits the realisation
of a pre-feasibility level project; the research will continue with specific
programs, having a geological, geophysical, geomechanical and mining content.
