The geophysical prospecting performed with a seismic single-channel apparatus
FS type for the seismic microzonic of the extracarpatic therritory and other
areas of Romania has led to the determination of the modulus of dynamic elasticity
for several types of rocks.
The authors point out the importance of the dynamic methods of testing the
ground "in situ" and their utility in the projecting of the foundations
of buildings in seismic areas.
