- Selection and analysis of geomagnetic and magnetospheric data

- Selection of the heliospheric phenomena and parameters best decribing the morphology and dynamics of heliosphere

- The state of the art regarding the theoretical and experimental knowledge

- Initiation of the web page of the project

  • Evaluation of geomagnetic repeat station network measurements

- Analysis of 1964-2000 measurements

- Models of the magnetic structure of lithosphere

  • Analysis of long- and medium-term temporal and structural variations in heliosphere

- Study of the rapid solar wind parameters and of variations induced in the heliosphere

- Analysis of the dynamics of magnetic sectorial structure in the heliosphere in relation with the solar cycle phases

- Field research regarding geomagnetic measurements in the repeat station network and paleomagnetic measurements

  • Analysis of the geomagnetic activity in relation with the heliospheric variability

- Study of the possible direct influences of heliospheric variability on the physical processes of dynamo type in the outer core of the Earth

- Evaluation of the mass and energy transfer from solar wind in the magnetophere

  • Study of the space distribution and of the temporal evolution of the main geomagnetic

- Secular variation and jerks; the contribution of ingredients with periods of about 11, 22 and 80 years

- Measurements in the geomagnetic repeat station network and paleomagnetic field work
